We are in the
beginning of the 1978 Le Mans 24 hours: Jabouille is in
the lead, driving the biggest and the most powerfull Alpine ever
built. Ickx tried to stay on his heals whilst Pironi waited for an opportunity. The A443
did not win but keeped the leading place up till the 19th hour. Jabouille signed the
best lap with 3'34''2. |
